With a diverse membership consisting of businesses large and small, urban and rural, and from all parts of the state, the Association of Washington Business lobbies in Olympia for public policy that encourages economic growth, boosts productivity and creates jobs. AWB is the oldest and most influential business organization in the state, and serves as Washington’s chamber of commerce. Of 6,200 members, 75 percent are businesses with fewer than 50 employees. Their membership also includes some of the nation’s largest and most influential companies. Together, AWB members provide jobs for some 600,000 Washington residents.
